Butterscotch Cupcakes

So I must admit. I've tried to make butterscotch and home made caramel quite a few times in my days. But this has been by far the best butterscotch ever! including what I've tasted in other places. It was really the perfect creation.

And since I'm a cupcake gal, I had to make a cupcake with it.

There is butterscotch added directly to the batter of the vanilla cake to add that extra burnt sugar flavor, as well as butterscotch drizzled on top, with shaved chocolate.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!

Chocolate cupcakes, with chocolate chip cookie dough bottercream frosting!
There's also a little surprise inside, with a cookie dough center.

It was pretty close to heavenly.

Nina's Bridal Shower!

Congratulations Nina!! This cake was created especially for Nina's Bridal shower today, January 1, 2011. A beautiful damask theme with hints of blue complement the cake and the overall decorations. Love it!

Nutella Cupcakes

I must admit: Nutella is by far one of the tastiest things I've ever had. I'm doomed with this!

So mixing my two favorite things... nutella and cupcakes! A perfect combination. Top it off with a beautiful and delicate white rose made of fondant, and we're set for any occasion!

Halloween Celebration!

My Fair Cupcakes was taking part in a Halloween Bake-off competition on Friday, and guess who won first prize? We were very excited! Take a closer look at our spooky creation, with devil's food chocolate cake skulls, jawbreaker eyes, and fondant hand and spider. All edible!

Whoooo's Turning One?!

Beautiful first Birthday theme for Little Leyla!!! The owl is from the theme "Whhoooo's Turning One", so we were asked to make a cake that matched the rest of the party.
The owl and the leaves were hand-made with fondant.

Flamingo Cupcakes!

A very special order for Maureen's 60th birthday! The specific instructions were to include a 'Princess' theme, as well as 'flamingos'. Tough concept to begin with, but the results were too cute to turn down!!

Even the special topper made it to the party. The hit!

If there is any better way to say "I'm sorry", I could never believe it's sweeter than this.
A late birthday wish is a perfect occasion to send a box of delicious cupcakes to a friend or loved one. That's exactly what this is order is for!! How could anyone resist an apology like this? :)

Princess Baby Shower

Get Glammed Up Event

Tonight at Electric Couture, a great event took place, featuring make-up artists and hair stylists from Paul Mitchell, and My Fair Cupcakes!

My Fair Cupcakes creation: Pink Russian! A twist on the classic cocktail, White Russian, we figured we could add a little 'couture' to the cupcake with bright pink and black colors, to complement the event. A touch of Kahlua and Vodka gave the cupcake extra moisture and flavor.

Post-it Cupcakes!

This was a very fun project. For a going-away party at an office, we were asked to create cupcakes for their manager, who had the habit of always leaving post-it notes in everyone's desk.
For a nice going away gift, the employees all chipped in with sayings and wishes for her farewell.
Besides the surprise being extra-cute, the sayings were personalized and specific to the occasion, which made it much more special!

We can make any notes on these cute post-its, and of course, it's all edible.
